Check out our PUREVOLUME Profile. See the bands were listening too
Readers,
Recently Dynamic Clothing has been in contact with some great bands they found using "Crunch Base". If you are a business or band and want to find a specific sound or look then I suggest taken advantage of what you can find online with the new "web2.0" websites.
Here are a few I have used:
TuneCore is a service that allows bands to sell their music through iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, Napster and other sites. TuneCore charges 99 cents per track, 99 cents per store per album, and $19.98 per album per year storage and maintenance. Bands get to keep 100% of royalties.

Slicethepie is a web based artist financing engine that raises money for artists to professionally record an album. It enables users to invest in, profit from, and trade in artists’ success by turning every music fan into a talent scout and investor.

Musocity is an online music community for music fans, bands and artists, musicians and music venues and retailers.

Bands upload sample music to Sellaband.com, promote the heck out of their profile page and ask fans to chip in $10 per share of a recording that will be produced when the band raises $50,000. The fans can take their money back out at any time before the goal is met.

The list is endless so take the time if you are looking for quality results.
